There is a field that says 'Current Owner'. It will either be "Yes" or "No". I'll change it to "No" if someone sells off their ride and notifies me. Otherwise I have the email address of the previous owner (if already listed) to check with if someone else adds the same car. No need to take it down if it's sold, it's just another record to be tracked, more owner (or past owner) comments, and pictures to check out. Some caRs have really long stories of and huge lists of changes.
It's a better way to waste spare time than lets say, looking at muscle car registries...I should slap myself for even have mentioned that in my first post!

I wouldn't mind if you threw 2 extra cols in the DB, one for Origin location (if known, the location or dealer it was originally sold from) and one for # of owners.
Or hell even keeping an ownership trail, but that could get rather tricky if owner #3 throws in an entry then the original owner decides to chime in, but it could be a neat feature though to have a trail kept.

Do you know if the CDM 99' R's were included in the batch of 2000's that were released in US and Canada? If so register it as a 2000 like the badge says and include that in the comments. In my post a couple posts up I talked a little about the "current owner" field. I'm thinking that when people sell their car and let me know or when I get listing request with "no" checked for that field I can start asking for approximate dates of when they sold it. Having the possibility for multiple "No"'s will build the ownership trail. If I add a <title> tag to the "No"'s I can have it display the last attained date, date range owned, or something to that affect. If you hover your mouse over the column headers above the listings it briefly explains what they contain, for example the color field says what the PY, NBP, CY, etc. means. I can add those titles (ones you see when hovering) to the individual cells on the page and I can put something like "owned from 01-06-99 to 05-05-07" or "sold on 05-05-07", etc. I think that would be a better option than having a bunch of empty spaces in a separate column.
That was all in my head and now it's in a post. What a relief!
Let me know what ya think.

His sig is messed up. 1997 badges read only "-00123" All the other years read 98-0123, 99-0123, etc. Canada did receive model year 1999 ITRs with 99 on the badge. US was skipped that year.

Luckyyyyy! Thanks for the clarification. I'll just add a 1999 CDM page that the Canadian cars can have all to their selves.

registering, you should put it on your sig and promote your great creation! I say you have an option for modified and semi modified imo, just because I felt like I messed up my R when I had to choose modified, but all I have is a intake/rims lol

Just an FYI
Here's lil' tid-bit...
I had a couple of confusing emails. One from someone in Northern Ireland that has what looks like either UKDM or JDM R and one from a guy in the UK. I was confused on the EDM/JDM/UKDM and to what was local to whom, and this is what I was told:
UKDM (cars sold by Honda in Britain) cars are quad eye however are Right Hand Drive
JDM cars have come across to the UK as grey imports
EDM (cars sold by Honda in Europe) cars are quad eye but are Left Hand Drive
That basically told me that I don't only need to ask for location (current), but I need to verify the original market it was sold in. I added a field to the form that won't show up in a field in the listings, but will help me list it in the proper page. I just thought I'd voice the change and let you know a little info that was new to me. So....FYI

Quickie...
Thanks for all the listings guys, it's really looking nice now that there is a bit of content listed. The menu's are updated so they shouldn't really need tweaking. I've got the UKDM and JDM pages started thanks to the Euro guys from itr-dc2.com. It turns out the UKDM cars have badges like ours, only they don't list the year, and the numbers don't start over each year. Most of the bugs seem to be worked out with the submit form (I had to make a few subtle changes to get the info that I need to have things listed correctly). With AUDM, EDM, and JDM I'll just need pictures and comments to make it unique. I was thinking about adding the owners initials with the year or something, but I think listing them by year and just having the owner say something in the form of comments or show pics is sufficient.
Anyhoo, thanks for the positive vibe through the start of this idea-in-progress!

Turns out the AUDM-R's have badges too. They call them "Build Numbers" Theirs are located below the e-brake like the UK cars, but their numbers are the same as ours (being year and number ##-####). It looks like they have red R's too.
...just another quick lil' FYI I thought I'd share...
