A little something new this year. In support of Expo, Honda Performance Development will be bringing out a B-SPEC Fit and the HART 2012 Civic Si Grand Am car. HART just won the Mid Ohio Grand Am race last weekend and it is definitely a cool car.

My track partner's really pressing hard for me to go to this one.

I've never been to Mid Ohio before, and I'd love to do it...but it's complicated because of work requirements.

Working hard to make it happen and grab one of the remaining advanced group spots.

Mid Ohio is definitely one of my favorites. Awesome track and the local area is great too, real quaint, lots of mom and pop stuff. If you're still trying to go then you're not trying hard enough

Unfortunately, it's not 100% up to me. The approval I got sounded like "You're on your own" so we'll do it.

I just paid for it, though, so pending approval of "Advanced" for ITRCA, I guess I'll be there.

I'm NASA Advanced and Instructor, but that doesn't mean they'll accept that at ITRCA. :-)

To my knowledge only 3 of us in our group have been there, I'm sure there's one or two more. When I went I was a complete noob so I'll be learning from scratch. You'll be in good company either way.

Noob instructor coming thru!!! Actually took mid-ohio school years ago there then was there last year.... but was soaking wet.... So I should be good and rusty but I know the course...

Btw I'll be driving my DD silver smileyfacemobile / mazdaru mazdaspeed3 and won't have the teg :-( Too many issues with it right now and not enough time or money.
