Default ITR '00-#1494?

I bought a salvaged '00 type r a few years ago. The motor has been good to me for the last two years. I plan to break into the motor in about a month and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this motor before I begin. I bought it from a salvage yard in Penn. and it was PY. If anyone knows if anything was done to the car prior to my gaining possession of it, could you let me know. Thanks.

Super old thread but I am gonna be receiving a shell that has this badge number in it. I know it doesn't belong to the car because the Type R I'm buying is a 2001 but wonder if we can reunite badge numbers with the R

No this one is a custom grey color, fresh repaint, you might have seen it up for sale. We worked out a price and sent him a deposit today

Found out that #1494 was totaled and sold through an auction and was bought by the OP who I believe took all the good parts off of it (motor and interior) to use on the 01 shell that I am currently buying which is why the badge number is in there.

If the OP took all of the good ITR parts off of it, which are the bad ITR parts?

Maybe salvageable would have been a better word to use being that the shell was totaled
