Integra Type Rx pedal set question
I might have the opportunity to pick up a set of Type Rx pedals. I was just wondering how difficult it would be to install on a LHD car.
I know that the brake pedal pad needs to be riveted on but apparently the brake and gas pedals are bolt on and consist of the entire arm and pedal assembly. My question is will these two be bolt up and go or would i have to go about adjusting the clutch position etc?
Thanks

Re: Integra Type Rx pedal set question
It's the brake pedal arm that has a completely different bend in it due to the RHD steering colum following a different path...
From the look, the clutch and throttle will bolt up fine. I did a lot of research on this years ago, but now I'm not 100% though...

My set took about 40 minutes to install and they were a direct bolt up. The brake pedal pad is just three rivets. The most difficult part was trying to work under the dash with the pedal springs and not get a cramp in my back.
This is a bad pic but its the only one I could find. If you need later I can take a closer pic of the pedals installed if it helps you out.

Re: Integra Type Rx pedal set question
from my research, both the clutch and gas pedal assemblies are direct bolt on (ie: you swap the entire arm with the USDM one). it is just the brake pedal pad that has to be riveted onto the stock USDM arm

The Cruise control in Our Type R's ? I may be speaking for all type r owners, but my cruise control is planting my heal on the tunnel and keeping my foot in the same place on long road trips. stick to your red SI...idjit

Re: Integra Type Rx pedal set question
I have actually already contributed more to this post as I piggybacked on your comment (which does not apply to 100% of Type R's given NONE had cruise from the factory), and BlackR's comment on wanting to install Cruise in his, so I posted a link to a full How To Install Cruise in an R.
And then a link to some Cheap Mugen Pedals for the OP
who cares, this is the R Forum, not the " Multiple Car Forum"
Idjit.

NP, bought a set for myself...might sell em, might install em.
When you get the Rx pedals, take some pics when you do the install for a DIY...

No offense, but you know this how? they look exactly the same, same surfacing, same gas pedal, same box as I have seen on other sites.

Re: Integra Type Rx pedal set question
i just took a look on the king website...and the ones on ebay do look very similar/if not exactly like the ones advertised by king...
then again, the chinese fake market has products that are almost exactly the same real ones.

Re: Integra Type Rx pedal set question
That is correct. Sorry the brake does have to be rivited on. As far as for cruise control, I drive a 98 so I can't really give you advice on that.
