HYTECH turbo manfold i need opinions

Yoe check it,
i got a old school rare hytech manifold yes i do. for one it allows me to keep my ps and ac but mainly i got it so it can stand out and bling. plus i didnt want to do k in a 98 spec honda type r. i know why boost it!BBBut i just think a front mount looks better when i put on my mugen aero kit. So if anybody know how or what kind of coating ex cermeric or polydyne lmk what color it turns and how long it will last .

Re: HYTECH turbo manfold i need opinions

and if any previous owner of a hytech manifold out there or turbo peeps iv seeen pics of some people runing no front mount but a c02 kit i thought it is unsafe and pointless that you can only run up to 5 psi or am i wrong?

Run an intercooler. Just easier and keeps the IAT down.
You could run a water/meth kit all the time and get your tuner to dial it in as well...

Why wouldn't you want to run an intercooler?

I think its the one that has the turbo sit off to the side by the distributor. All I know is that I think this belongs in the forced induction forum more than in here. Run and tell dat, homeboy.

Re: HYTECH turbo manfold i need opinions

yeah thats the manifold .... yeaup. im about to order a few more parts to finish my set up. but i dont really wanna trim my mugen bumper and i dont want to get a smaller front mount since i already have a hks one.. to match my cam gears. but i will at any cost.

my main question was how do i keep it to bling?
or even better how can i heat it up to where it turns to that amber mixed with purple look to the mettle.

my bad if i dont make sense just got back from camping 9 people and 6 half gal. of henny

best thing to do is to give John at hytech a call and get some customer feedback as to what coating works best. Or post in forced induction forum as previously mentioned as i doubt you will find many people here who have run this manifold.

OR you can take some speech therapy classes , learn how to effectively communicate what you want in proper English and then get back to us.

if reference to thermal barrier coatings i would look into jet hot or swain tech coatings. both are top notch and are FUNCTIONAL + BLING brah.

I can tell you the swain coating doesn't seem to hold up that well to heat. My header was swain coated and it mostly melted off on the first bends, the rest is still good though. Swain will tell you this is normal too.
