hydrolock, bad luck getting worse. DALLAS shop? HELP!!!

Just rebuilt the engine, three weeks or so ago. All new seals, bearings, valves, timing belt, aqua pump, etc., along with a new jdm header, cat, and kenji ecu, to compliment CTR pistons, Running great, 30 mpg in the city. I had to go to Dallas for work, and reluctantly drove my car. Going from Arkansas to Dallas requires a shitty drive through Oklahoma(my new least favorite state). Thought I could beat the storms, and almost did. Started pouring in Mcallister OK, so I pulled over waited forever for the roads to dry up, they did. Out of nowhere, in the middle of a 70 mph road, was a huge puddle(lake more like it). I nailed it, car dies. Pull off immediately, try to crank it(yeah, stoopid me), turns over and dies right away, try again about ten minutes later(didn't get any smarter in 10 mins), same thing. Try one more time, and it won't crank or anything. The electrical starts acting up, lights die etc. Have it towed from Atoka, Oklahoma to Dallas, ouch 300 bucks. Probably cheap compared to what it will cost to fix. Get to dallas, pull plugs, try to crank, and CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, CLICK. I imagine the engine locked, maybe a rod jammed somewhere it doesn't need to be. Is the clicking the starter? Is it stripped out from trying to turn a locked engine? What should I do next? I know taking it to a shop is the customary response, but Im in dallas. So who knows of a good place to go in big D? Oh yeah, it had AEM cold air, so ANYBODY rockin the AEM CAI , get rid of it NOW!!! Please, the few HP gain is not worth it.

put a socket and ratchet on the crank with no plugs in, if it turns backwards and then locks up again you need rod/s https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

The clicking is probably a dead battery. Charge your battery, pull the plugs, crank it over, make sure all the water is out, change your oil, put new plugs back in (dont have to be platinum), see if it starts! If it does, congrats, ur lucky, if it doesnt.....that sucks.

I like my Mugen intake. I've always wondered if anyone has ever done this with a mugen....
