Help. Alternator Adjustment Bolt
I've managed to lose the alternator adjustment bolt. Does anybody know the size/type of that bolt?
thanks.
edit: I have the OEM bolt part number (90058-P72-000). But I'd rather jsut run down to the hardware store and pick one up if possible.

bolt or nut?
there are probably other nuts on the car that are the same size. maybe see if you can find one and see if it screws on? then you can go to the hardware store and try to match it.
first ones that comes to mind are the strut tower.

Re: (RTW DC2R)
This is the bolt that you loosen to swivel the alternator to adjust the belt tension - it is the upper bolt . I'm not sure what nut you are referring to.
I'm assuming it is a bolt.

Re: (Flux)
Just go to the dealer and they'll give you the right bolt. Don't chance it.
I had a rounded adj bolt and had to chisel it off and repair the through bolt.

With it hanging near the alternator it might end up being a corrosion resistant bolt... probably a decent idea to go ahead and do what you already did
Anyone know if it is/isn't?
