Default Good Deal for ITR Rims?

Okay, I just bought these rims for $250, was it a good deal? They are claimed to be stock ITR rims.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...886582&r=0&t=0

Seemed like a good deal to me as I needed and extra set of rims for the track. What do you guys think?

I hope u read the descriptions clearly because u bid only on one rim!
Not a set.
Actually i need only one rim because i have one minor scrape on the lip of mine.
Too bad i didnt notice this one on ebay.

I hope you didn't accidentally bid thinking it was a full set. The title of the item however is plural, as well as many parts iof the desciription. It's very misleading.

$250 for one ITR rim is a little pricey (although the new retail price is higher) It is not a JDM rim. It is a USDM rim. I have bought 3 SETS of 4 rims each. I paid anywhere from $500 - $650 for each set so you should have paid about $125-$165 for a single. Sorry bud, you got ripped.

Okay, just e-mailed the seller told him I wasn't goign to pay; that description was bullshit. He uses plural forms of words many many times making it sound like he has more than one rim for sale. He can go fawk himself if he thinks I am goin to pay for that ****.

In fact, I should burn him just for being so stupid...white trash should not be allowed to write descriptions on E-bay without the assitance of someone who is not their wife/sister, etc.

How that could be. Like it said. "Auction is for One brand new"

Auction is for One Brand new, NEVER been used 5 lug Authentic Acura Integra Type R 15" rim. This is the stock ITR rims for the last model. The Rim color is Gun metal if you can't tell by the pictures. This rim has never been put on a car nor have tires ever touched them. They are in PERFECT condition because they have never been used. THESE ARE VERY RARE RIMS. Retail on one of these alone are beyond $300. Don't miss this opportunity to get a spare rim or replace old rims or if you just want to have them. If you have any questions regarding this rim please do not hesitate to ask me. BID ONLY IF SERIOUS! Shipping costs will be a flat rate of $30 anywhere in the US. Out of US please email me.

Booker- the ad read like a badly written 4 grade composition. The is auction is for one rim, fine no problems. Then the ad goes on to say..."They are in PERFECT condition because they have never been used. THESE ARE VERY RARE RIMS."

See my point, one rim doesn't use the pronoun they or these, instead, it.

Anyway, onyx, you should've read the ad more carfully, hope you can get out without suffering ebay suspension.

You are correct about that. I knew that I was bidding on one rim. The rest was just BS.

$30 for shipping one rim? Is that priority overnight? This auction is a rip everywhere.

onyx00 - the dude even has a picture of only one rim on his auction page. You should've e-mailed the guy if you were in doubt. The guy didn't really cheat you, despite his poor grammar. G'luck clearing it up with him.

Whatever, the ad was misleading at best; even the title was incorrect. I can maybe understand just the description; but come on, the title says

"Integra Type R ITR Gun metal Rims Wheels JDM!"

That sounds like mutliple to me.

I'll talk to the guy on the phone if need be and see what is up.

onyx- unfortunately, "the professional" is right. even ebay rules state that if you have any doubt about a particular item, you are required to ask the seller to clarify BEFORE you bid. I've experienced this sort of thing personally...

He sucks typing **** like its suppose to be, and u suck reading. Take it with a grain of salt, but we all feel the same. I dont sugar coat...

you can always take the negative feedback hit...they aren't going to suspend you for one incident....make sure you contact ebay as well, don't let him do it...and save a copy of the auction so you have records...I've gotten out of **** like this too...people on ebay **** me off, there is too many stupid sellers out there...

Okay, I can understand that I am supposed to read closely, etc, etc, but I think it is quite obvious this guy had the intention of misleading people reading the add.

I agree with typer98 here, I can easily take the negative feedback, and it is quite obvious this guy is a schmuck.

For those of you that say it is my fault; yes, partly mine, but partly his also. You can say what you want, but if you were to get involved in a situation like this you all would be bitching about it just as much as me if not more.

equiped, what is your problem? You have 16 posts on this board; why don't you keep your mouth shut unless you have something useful to say.

Default I have a set for sale...

For anyone interested...

I have a set of 2000 Gunmetal R rims w/ not so good stock tires that used to belone to Andy on this board for sale....

$500 for the set w/ tires if you can pick up. Otherwise you have to pay for shipping. Perfect for spare set of track rims. Let me know.
