EXPO 5 is OFFICIAL!
EXPO 5 is Official
I am happy to say that Expo 5 is now official!
First I would like to say how impressive it is that we all came together to make this event a reality. To those who have paid, you have made this event happen! Thank you for showing your support and dedication.
I would also like to thank Mike Buenaventura - Sponsor and Manager of NTB in Lewisville, TX who provided two free sets of RA1s for raffle to those who registered and paid to attend the event by 1/24/05.
Now that the Expo is official, we have a lock on the track and the banquet/hotel facility.

Hotel / Banquet
Because we have the money so early, we are working with ideal conditions. The banquet facility is also the hotel facility.
With this, we will have a 10,000 square foot dining hall able to sit 500 people if necessary. Additionally, we will be able to bring a car or two into the dining hall as there is a garage door adjacent to the eating area.
Less than 20 feet from our dining hall will be a parking lot roped off for only our attendees.
A water source and hose will be provided for those wanting to wash their vehicles.
Another lot is available for bigger truck and trailer units. The facility is EXTREMELY easy to get to. It is very important to reserve your rooms soon! There are several other groups that will be holding functions on the same weekend.

Sponsors
NTB Sponsorship: From Mike Buenaventura (Honda-Tech: migs)
Trey will be working on sponsors from now until the event. We will all continue to work hard to make this a very memorable event.
Instructors
Instructor registration is OPEN. All instructors are required to pay for the banquet ($35 or $40 via credit card on Paypal). Individuals wishing to be instructors will need to sign up on http://www.itrca.com/events/expo5insreg.php and will be in Pending or Paid status until they have both
1. Paid, and
2. Are approved to be instructors by the Expo 5 organizers.
‘Confirmed’ status indicates that you have been approved to be an instructor. We would like to get at least 25 instructors.
Note, just because an individual signs up to be an instructor does NOT indicate that they will have ‘Confirmed’ instructor status.
Expo Gear
Don’t forget about the Expo 5 gear that is available at http://www.cafepress.com/itrca.
Safety/rules related questions to should be sent to expo5.rules@kickyfast.com .

Let me add a little note to keep this one in perspective - EVERYTHING is 20 minutes from the track. That's a good thing, so we don't have any noise issues.

Before any big plans are made... please don't burn down all the corn fields with heaping mounds of dumb factor
BudMan doesn't want to have to play "Park Commissioner" while he's there.
