Geez, no first hand experience but ATS gears are priced much better!

I'd say.... Your paying for the name.... Just search hard and find the specs and I'll bet ya that ATS has the same or VERY similar for alot less....

I was holding them in my hands about a month ago.....friend had it installed in his car and busted them back out for whatever reason.....

What makes the Spoon gearset different is that it has an exceptionally long 1st gear....

1st) 2.5xx vs. 3.230
2nd) 1.9xx vs. 2.1uh..crap... wutever the stock one is that ATS does NOT change.

I originally thought the 1.9xx from the Spoon gearset was the same as the GS-R one making it possible to pair it together with the tallish 1st gear.... but the shafts are completely different.

Looks like I'll stick to my 3.033 ATS first for now....

It would be a nice setup the 1st and 2nd for a FI or high powered NA car for drag or perhaps even AutoX applications....whereas ATS recognized that the majority of the time 3-4-5 is used primarily for circuit.

I don't think the Spoon gearset is worth the additional premium however....as much as I would lust for a set myself. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif
