I ordered Rota Circut 8's from there. Great service. But they only come in 4 x 100 design.

It's been discussed before:

Rota C-8's 16 x 7: Set of 4 - $500.00

Mugen MF-8's 16 x 7: Set of 4 - $2,000.00

What to do to my car with an extra $1,500.00? The possibilities are endless.

Or.

That's one hell of a lot of 's.

Let's see, on sale here in Cali, I can get a 30 pack of Bud Light for $14.99. Let's tack on CRV and Tax, we'll round it up to $17.00 a case.

$1,500 / $17 = 88 Cases of beer.
30 beers per case = 2,640 Cans of beer.
12 oz beer per can = 31,680 Oz of beer.
128 Oz. per Galon = 247.5 Galons of beer.

Hey Craig, how much work could we get done with this much beer?

Sure they fact they are forged, weight almost nothing and are hella cool has nothing to with the fact people want a wheel the LOOKS like it.

Knockoffs are for people who want to PRETEND they have something they DONT.

Rota makes nice wheels but I really wish they didnt make knockoffs........"I want that JDM LOOK so I think I will buy slipstreams" = BIter, FAKER, wannabe

"Damn I had to get a second job, sell my dog, eat less McDOnalds but hey.......I rollin on Regamasters, Mugen MF-10's, Volk AV3's, etc...." = somebody who was DOWN to WORK for something they wanted and didnt halfass his/her way to do it.

Everbody wants the good **** NOW......well guess what....it takes time and hard work but if you are getting the good ****............its worth the wait........most people who have been in the scene for a few years know that.

Knockoffs bring down the scene and take money away from the real deal companies.................if the real deal **** was CRAP do you think so many people would WASTE their money on it?

Quality is worth the price. Rota's are nice but THEY AINT REGAMASTERS.

If you cant afford to get the real deal.........take a look in the mirror and ask why....in time you will have what you really want......dont cut corners and DISS/DOG/ Talk **** about QUALITY products.

I believe that **** company ADR is gonna make an MF-10 copy.......you can pimp those for the "jdm look" ****** poseurs.

That's complete bull. Not everybody has the same priorities as you. Some people (like you) care about the name more than the product. If someone has to do all those things to be able to afford a JDM set of rims they can't afford them. It's like someone spending a year's salary on a Rolex watch. By spending more money than they can afford they're just trying to look more affluent than they are. Then who's the poser?

Some people's priorities are different than yours. I'm looking for a wheel that 1) is relatively inexpensive 2) is relatively wide 3) is relatively strong 4) is relatively lightweight and hell if it 5) looks okay and is 6) made by a reputable manufacturer then that's just great. I'd consider the Rotas if they came in 15x7 and 5 bolt regardless of what they looked like.

****** label ******.

there was a funny quote i saw on the hybrid board. it went something like this.

"90% of the people with real spoon rims are posers. real enthusiast would rather spend the difference on track time".

I don't know about what you typed there I'd rather have 500 dollar rims that look the same and are nearly the same perforamnce and have 1500 dollars to take a trip with or invest in to the car. Or just drink alot of beer.

Fug the real stuff if its wiser on the pockets.

You ***** are so dense. The fact that the Rota designs are copies of high end wheels is merely a bonus. They're light, quality wheels and a kick *** price. Don't give me this cutting corners bullshit. Oh, and don't knock their quality-ask yourself if you have direct experience with them vs. "brand name" quality. Oh wait, you don't.

While y'all are saving up for your precious little super light wheels, the Rota gang is gonna be rolling your *** on the track.

People can put whatever they want on their cars.

However, fake Mugens exactly fit the common definition of rice - which is putting something on your car to give the appearance rather the reality of increased performance.

Real MF-10s are not just light but their rim is produced using a special process to reduce its thickness and hence reduce the rotational inertia of the wheel.

I wished Rota made a MF10 copycat, cause I would buy those in a second.

This is my take on it (the same thing with body kits): I like to drive my car. I would hate to purchase something that would take the enjoyment out of driving my car. I don't want to drive *** slow cause I'm afraid I'll scrape my $2000 body kit or curb my $2000 rims or bottom out cause I cut the springs by 3".

I have seen the Rota C8's in person and for the money, it's a great alternative to the real deal. The weight difference between the C8's and the TE37's that I compared were very hard to notice.

Buy em, drive em, break em, and buy a new set cause they are cheap.
