What is the CORRECT way to do it? I've been told a few different ways. So which is correct....

1. Push the clutch to the floor, open bleeder valve, close bleeder valve, pull up clutch with hand slowly.

2. Pump the clutch many times and then hold to the floor, open bleeder valve, close bleeder valve, pull up clutch with hand slowly.

3. Open bleeder valve, pump the clutch many times, and then close the bleeder valve?

or you could just do a gravity bleed, open the screw, open the cap and let it drip untill all done. (I think that works)

Connect a hose into the bleeder valve.....Open the valve......Use your hand to press down/pull up the clutch pedal(no tension once the valve open)......"Make sure the clutch reservoir do not dry out at anyway time"......Refill the clutch fluid..... Repeat the step until the clutch fluid is clear........Lock the valve and you're done.

if you loss tension on the clutch pedal after bleeding which mean there's air inside....redo it.

tips: every 4-5 pump on the clutch you need to refill the clutch reservoir.

Just like WhosITR said, just...

1.) open the bleeder screw
2.) pump the clutch pedal about 5 times
3.) close bleed screw
4.) refill the resovoir and go back to step #1

I don't know about you but I had a lot of black "gunk" clinging onto the walls of the resovoir. After I went through steps 1-3 the first time, I took a paper towel and wiped the walls and the bottom of the resevoir to get most of the gunk out. The rest, I just let it bleed through the system and out the bleed screw. Make sure the clutch fluid level doesn't go so low that it exposes the opening to the clutch line to air.

FYI - I tried the gravity method as well but it never seemed to get rid of the bubbles.

so while the bleeder is opened i can pull up on the clutch and that won't introduce air into the lines?

one way to prevent that is to put the hose into a small can or some type of can, and fill it a lil with fluid. make sure the one end stays in the fluid, this way it won't suck up air.
