Default Bad Rattle Please Help

00PYT-0757

Car is making a loud rattling sound when starting off or going in reverse. This problme only happens when starting off, it does not occur when car is in motion. It seems to sound like its coming from the front right or directly underneath

Has there been any maintenance or work of any kind done lately? If so, just make everything is torqued down properly. Aside from that, you'll just have to have someone help you track down where it is coming from. I know that bad motor mounts can make your entire car shake a little more and flush out anything not tightened down. <----can be very annoying!!! Good luck finding it.

check the heat shields on your exhaust components. they will rust and break free from all but one or two of the mounting bolts and cause a rattle similar to the one you're describing. it's probably the shield above the cat.
