Default B18C5 Bearing Size

Hoping someone here can help me out, I'm in the process of changing out the bearings on my engine (b18c5). I noticed that all of the rods/caps have the number "23" stamped on them that indicate the bearing size to be used, this is the first time I've rebuilt a C5 engine so I'm a bit confused if I can just use the standard size bearings. I have ordered new King bearings that are all standard size. Will it be ok to throw those in? here is a picture of the rods/caps to show you what I'm talking about. Any info would be great. thanks

You're going to want to do some research. I wouldn't play around with a b18c5 on my first engine build. If you're not skilled enough, grab a manual, FOLLOW IT TO THE FREAKIN LETTER. Cross every t, Dot every i. Measure, measure, measure. Take it apart and do it again if you're unsure - or simply pay someone who has experience to build it. I'd say expect to fork over at the least $500 to someone who is reputable. If not, you'll be spending that on the proper tools to get some solid measurements. It would be a shame to destroy crank and rods to save a few bucks.

Honda bearings are coded by letter and color. Not the number stamped on a rod. The stamp indicates the balancing of the rod. Get an FSM. And use OEM bearings.
