Where's KENGS/JDM ***** #1? He would probably have some info...
Initial impressions....definitely NOT for everyone
Pedal effort is probably 3x that of stock Si clutch (which I don't mind).
Clutch engagement is a weeeeeeeee bit abrupt, even though it is a sprung disc (still getting used to it).
The clanging noise from the metal disc IS LOUD AS FAWK! Sounds like a giant coffee grinder when you depress the clutch. People next to me look at me as though I'm preparing to detonate a bomb
BTW, Dee and Ben@AJR (both of whom are using/have used the Cusco/OS clutch) confirm that this is all NORMAL.
Still breaking in the clutch, will give more feedback later...
The OS Giken flywheel (8.75lbs) is very nice
HKS FF Gear tranny fluid is awesome; shifts are silky smooth

I have used both version of the OS super single and I will be installing a twin with the new engine.
The Cusco version is lighter because of the aluminum cover. The OS steel cover version comes in two sizes. The smaller diameter version is for NA cars. The turbo version can handle more torque eventhough both have the same hp rating of 400whp.
Kengs pretty gave all of the other details. Pedal travel is greatly reduced and my car revs a lot easier now. The clatter is loud because of the metal disc hitting the separator disc and it does get a little bit quieter after about 500kms of usage. The disc are also sprung so they will be a bit more streetable.

ATS is the bomb but overhaul kits for ATS clutches requires remortgaging the homestead. The ATS single has smoother engagement but is only rated for 300whp and a lot less torque than the OS/Cusco setup. Ogura also has a super single for Honda's that is rated to 300whp.

I am using them too and I think they are too good for stock or mildly mod engine, and not to say the very heavy pedals and bearing noise. Still prefer SPoon or TODA clutch, although they are different league.

Still breaking in mine...
I gotta say the stiff pedal is actually VERY nice.
The biggest problem thus far is THE NOISE!!! Geez...people are staring at me
The other problem is getting off the line...this clutch needs REVS. About 1800-2000rpm minimum, otherwise you will stall. I've done a lot of chirping (by accident) just to get off the line. So rush hour traffic is definitely no fun (did that yesterday)
Once you get rolling, man it is awesome! Like Jacob said, probably overkill for a lightly modded motor.
So, definitely NOT for everyone. Black R seems to love it. Cosworth definitely hates it. I am somewhere in the middle.

Shane you suck! Adjust the clutch pedal stop so that there is very little play before the clutch actually engages. This will leave very little clutch travel!!! After a few tries you'll figure out the engagement point and will be able to ease away from stops with no problem.
ATS carbon clutches save driveline parts but kill your wallet in the process.
