Default Any precautions/tips to change brake pads.

I'm gonna do the pads tomorrow at an event. It's only one screw I remember to gain access to the pads. I will be using the stock oem rotors to break these CC-X pads in. Is there anything I should pay attention to when installing new pads? Also, what should I use to clean my rotors? All I have right now is Simple Green

14mm. Also, you need something to decompress the piston as well.

I use "Valvoline Brake Parts Cleaner". It's available at Autozone

If you can make it to shoprite or anyother big super maket they might have a spray can of brake part cleaner, try that. also like mentioned a 14mm wrench, jack, lug wrench, and a C- clamp or really long screw driver to pry the piston back into the caliper.
Are the rotors on the car in good condition? maybe bring some sand paper to scuff up the surface for the pads to bite a hair more... may 220 or 180 grit.

See ya there in the morning.

Anyhow Rob, I am going to the SCCA one at Nassaue, I don't like the fields and how NASA runs.
