FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
July 26th - July 30th 2006, bring your very best. Right here in Kansas City, Missouri. Dieman Motorsports, in partnership with Imagine Auto will be hosting the All Around Sports Car Challenge. The challenge will consist of 4 events taking place over 5 days to test every aspect of a cars performance. Entry will be limited to 20 cars only so pre-register today. Bring your best, it’s as simple as that. A more detailed schedule of events will be supplied to the competitors.
Cars Allowed:
Any and all cars are allowed.
Rules:
One Driver per Car.
One Car per Driver.
Cars must participate in every event and complete every run. Missing one event or one run will result in an immediate disqualification.
All Tire types are allowed.
All Fuel types are allowed.
Car and Driver with the most points at the end of all four events will be crowned the “Ultimate All Around Sports Car”
Practice Runs not required
Cars must pass tech inspection for every event..
All participants must fill out release form for individual events.
Entry Fee:
$350.00 must be paid at time of entry.
Prizes:
Winner take all event. $5,000.00 dollar cash prize to winner. Top ten overall receive trophies. Top three in each event will receive trophies. All participants receive 2 t-shirts and a participation car magnet as well as a sponsor grab bag.
Events:
Road Course: Heartland Park Topeka Wednesday July 26th.
Each car will get three timed runs around the course.
Best time will be recorded as the official time for the event.
Points breakdown is as follows: 1st 35, 2nd 33.5, 3rd 32, 4th 30.5, 5th 29, 6th 27.5, 7th 26, 8th 24.5, 9th 23, 10th 21.5, 11th 20, 12th 18.5, 13th 17, 14th 15.5, 15th 14, 16th 12.5, 17th 11, 18th 9.5, 19th 8, 20th 6.5.
Each car will be allowed 2 “warm-up” laps before the timing will begin.
Drag: Kansas City International Raceway July 28th.
Each car will get three attempts to pull the fastest E.T.
Best time will be recorded as the official time for the event.
Points breakdown is as follows: 1st 35, 2nd 33.5, 3rd 32, 4th 30.5, 5th 29, 6th 27.5, 7th 26, 8th 24.5, 9th 23, 10th 21.5, 11th 20, 12th 18.5, 13th 17, 14th 15.5, 15th 14, 16th 12.5, 17th 11, 18th 9.5, 19th 8, 20th 6.5.
Each car will get 1 practice run.
Dyno Challenge: Location TBA July 29th.
Each car will get three pulls on the dyno.
Highest horsepower pull will be recorded as the official pull for the event.
Points breakdown is as follows: 1st 20, 2nd 19, 3rd 18, 4th 17, 5th 16, 6th 15, 7th 14, 8th 13, 9th 12, 10th 11, 11th 10, 12th 9, 13th 8, 14th 7, 15th 6, 16th 5, 17th 4, 18th 3, 19th 2, 20th 1.
No warm up runs on the dyno.
Autocross: Arrowhead Stadium July 30th.
Each car will get three runs around the course.
Best time will be recorded as the official time for the event.

If anyone shows up though... without dollar limitations its going to be a HP/Handling battle... which will be won by whoever has the best driver/$$ invested combo.
I like GRM because it has limits for people... so more regular owners can participate.
