AEM intakes
what is the difference between the cold air system and the short ram? Are there differences in power + torque. I was thinking in buying the Comptech intake, which one is better?

Re: AEM intakes (BattleAngel_R400)
The difference is that the short ram ends about where the stock airbox is/was (where is sucks in hotter air near the engine). The cold air intake goes all the way down your fender and sucks in colder air from in front of your right front tire...

Re: AEM intakes (typer98)
Cold air intakes will make all their power below 5000rpm.
Short ram will make more above 5000
Its a trade off.
Btw, the whole hot air thing, it only applies while you are sitting still.
Once you are moving, hot air is gone.
