Default 01 ecu immobilizer

Hi, does any know if the immobilizer on a 2001 itr ecu can repair? Where? A friend of mine had a attempted theft on his itr and they removed the immobilizer from his ecu hes looking to have it repaired or replaced if anyone is selling a oem 2001 itr ecu with the immobilizer. Text 2016403800 if you have one for sale for faster response. Thanks

They opened the ecu and removed the immobilizer? Or did they break the immobilizer unit on the key cylinder?

From what i know, they broke his key cylinder and he had it replaced. He also said they removed the immobilizer from the ecu so thats why hes looking for a oem ecu with the immobilizer. I believe this is the third attempt on his car and it only has about 20k on it. Is the ecu repairable or should he just replace it?

Did they also replace the immobilizer unit? If they replaced the key cylinder they would be using the new key that comes with the cylinder. It has to be programmed to the new immobilizer unit. I highly doubt they removed the unit from the ecu

So..... They desoldered 26 pins on the ECU and there's an empty space there? Or did they put some other car's ECU in and you guys can't tell the difference?
