Who made my radiator?
HT, please help me identify my radiator. It's leaking and it needs to be replaced. I am trying to get the factory replacement but from the research I have done there are 3 different makes for integra DC radiators. The car is a 98 GSR and the previous owner says the rad was replaced but it looks original. Showa, Denso, and SAK are the manufacturers I have heard of, and they all mount differently apparently. The radiator cap says SAK, the radiator itself says "PA66-GF30", and the passenger side shroud says "091106". I found a SAK radiator on ebay but the description says not for GSR?? I am also open to ideas for aftermarket rads that can use the stock fans. Thanks for the help.

Re: Who made my radiator?
even better question is what mounting style sak uses. the only two fan types i've seen are denso and showa. either model will fit in the car but the fans will not mount if you choose wrong. if you don't see a clear marking or are able to identify fan mount brackets i would buy local at the autoparts store just so you can test fit your fans on the counter. or, if you really wanted to be cheap, pack your fans down there and find out which style they fit on, then order the koyo oem replacement for $100 shipped online

Re: Who made my radiator?
Only one I see is the SAK, [19010-P72-A03] and it has mounts for both rad and condensor fan.
The 98 Type R uses the Denso, [19010-P73-A03] rad...
I do not see any 98 LS, RS, GS, GS-R, 2 or 4 dood or the Type R that use a Showa.
Looks like the one you have is an OEM replacement, [made in China] by Yisaiya... http://www.gasgoo.com/showroom/yisai...s/1119820.html 94

Re: Who made my radiator?
PA66-GF30 = Nylon 6-6 Glass Reinforced 30%
Go with an aftermarket, the stock rads are ridiculously expensive and are not better than the aftermarket types. The stock rads all fail at the top cap.

FCM, Amazing info thanks. I ordered a SAK style replacement from Rock Auto. They have an excellent return policy in case it's the wrong one but I think I should be good.

Re: Who made my radiator?
necro-bump because i just had to deal with this...
the denso style has the passenger's cooling fan held on by 4 bolts instead of 2 bolts and 2 clips.
the upper bolts are uneven on the denso style, the bolt on the far end is about 1/2" taller, thats probably the easiest way to tell.
the caps are the same as far as i can tell, having ordered both sak and denso from the dealer.
denso part is 221-3211, denso sak style is 221-3212
