Whistling Sound Accelerating at the beginning of 2nd and 3rd gear?
Exactly as the title says my car whistles accerelerating in 2nd and 3rd
what can be the causes of this?
it's getting annoying
I know someone can help me

is it loud or soft??
might just be the air being sucked in from the filter mine does the same thing but its ok nothing bad

for the most part its low but when i step on it it does get louder
maybe... i have the air filter stuck right on the intake manifold lol (bought it like that) lol

You should buy some piping for that and either make a short ram intake or a cold air intake. Going with either of those, the air you'll be taking in will be colder than the air you're inducing right now, and you may notice a small torque increase. Depending on your setup, it may also either eliminate most of that whisling noise, or make it louder...

What intake manifold and throttle body do you have?
I've seen cars with ported or bigger tbs and im that whistle slightly during acceleration

The stock throttle body whistles at certain throttle / RPM conditions. The intake resonator in the front bumper is normally what prevents the sound from leaving the intake tract. With just a filter on there, you get the same whistle as those with a CAI.
I've had a CAI for so long, I'm confused when passengers ask why the car whistles. I don't even notice it any more...
