Pcv don't need it you can block it off there and cap where it connects to the intake manifold. And somethings not right for one piston looking way different. More info on your set up? Stock gsr with stock gsr ecu?

Umm you DO need the PCV as this is how the crank case is vented it also help keep seals from blowing out from blow by.

Check the injector on #4 for proper operation. If it has an EGR the EGR may need cleaning.

as for your pistons looks like 1~3 were getting too mush fuel or oil and 4 looks like it was running lean if at all.

Cylinders 1-3 look fairly normal operation, depending on the miles. Cylinder 4 looks steam cleaned, as in HG leak.

LOL Honda made it for a reason. Either keep the stock ventilation or upgrade.

the pcv system helps by relieving pressure and pulling moisture from the crank case.
water and oil don't mix too nicely. it's pretty important. just because you can remove one component from the engine and not have IMMEDIATE effects, doesn't mean it's alright to do.

besides, it's super easy to fix while the head's off. farting around back there from underneath the vehicle would be a pain. or you'd have to remove the intake manifold for access later on. unless, as stated, he wants to install a catch can

alright cool thanks guys and I had a feeling it was the pcv valve because when I took the head off the block heard something break and saw that broken piece and yes I am going to replace it and yea I thought that 1-3 was normal for 165xxx miles and my head gasket did blow along with all my exhaust valves lol
