I was going to change the color of bulbs in my climate control, anyone know what number the bulb is so I can go pick some up before tearing the climate controls apart? TIA

u cant change the color. they only come in clear. theere a blue film that the light passes thru which gives you that bluish color

Re: What number bulbs are in the climate controls?? (UltraGSR)
i posted the part number for the bulb a while ago, but i can't seem to find the thread that it's in. If your bulbs are working, don't bother replacing them just to try to change the color. One thing, they only come in plain white. Two, condoms aren't going to tint the light enough to be visilbe on the buttons. Three, as stated above, the blue film behind the buttons will dull any coloring effect.
But you still want to change the color of your climate control? This is possible because i've done it. Most threads i've read on this topic there is always somebody that says the blue film on the back is in the way and it isn't possible (no offense to nighthawk, you aren't the only one that has said this). Well if you remove the film, it no longer is in the way. Once the blue stuff is out, i tinted my climate control with some 3m electrocut film. If you read my "How to: DIY amber clock" post, you can see the results. I will also have a how to: DIY amber climate control in the near future.

From what I hear if the bulb is out the best thing to do is go to your local dealer... they say its a PIA to get to them

Re: What number bulbs are in the climate controls?? (Tanner)
I was just wondering if it's hard to replace. I have 1(or more) lights out.
* I grabbed my service manual and answered my own question. thanks anyway.
