what to get, what to get
yesterday I installed my DC JDM 4-1 header, skunk 2 intake manifold, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel pressure guage. On tueday I am installing my exhaust, short shifter, and welding the flange on to my headers and putting the cat back on. my next step is valve train components, cams, cam gears, and a VAFC. Whichvalve set would you recomend- I have skunk 2 and ferra. but any others I would also like to know about. as for cams I am mostly looking at skunk 2 or toda. and skunk 2 cam gears

skunk2 stuff is great. I'd suggest the skunk2, crower, ferrea, or web cams valvetrain. They are all great. I'm sure I missed a few obvious one slike TODA, but you know the rutine. Go with ferrea ss valves. P&P while you've got the head off... might as well do a 3 or 5 angle valve job and get oversized valves while you're in there. sounds like you pretty much know what you are going to do. good luck

PS- I've got a brand new VAFC in the box for $300 shipped.

what about for all the valve work???? they do that too
-- I have been going to inline four, they have done a good job with everything so far, and good prices as far as I've seen

If you want to use toda or jun cams, you must use their valvetrain. So if you plan on using those cams, get their valvetrain. If not, skunk2 makes good valvetrain components, as do crower and webcams mentioned earlier. A track near irvine would be California speedway, in fontana.

Don't get the stage 3 skunk cams. They are not for street use, only on race cars who don't see high mileage. During daily driving they put extreme wear on the stock rocker assembly. All of this is according to the guys at skunk. Get stage 2 at the most for a daily driven street car.
