TOO MUCH TORQUE

Did a valve adjustment. Last one was done about 90k miles ago. The car idled and drove well but wanted to see the clearances. 13/16 valves were on the tight side! I adjusted and the car idles smoother than before.

Put your car back in spec!

Is that a full bolt on cage or is there welding involved?

Both mate, it's a bolt in cage but I had to weld in foot plates as well, to be honest I'm going to weld it in as well tomorrow just so it's even safer

once I'm done with my retune and paint I'm going to have a nice white roll cage like that installed for safety when i get it to the track hopefully one day.

I wouldn't bother if you aren't going to track it on a regular basis, I'm prepping my car for msa scrutenering so that I can do my race licence if you are simply doing track days you won't need it

It came with a full airwalker kit but I am unsure really, nobody else has got one in England I know that for sure lol

I finally got the car repainted and detailed it today! also installed a fuel preasure regulator relocator.

Since the paint shop got lots of over spray on my wheel splash gaurds. So i ordered new ones on ebay and they fit perfect!

Installed all new coolant lines running to the FITV and IACV, also the thermostat by pass line. I cleaned the hell out of my IACV, concerned that it will malfunction. This is all a part of a top end rebuild that I began several weeks ago. Due to my school/work schedule I don't have much daylight to wrench. (driveway job) but tomorrow is the day I add coolant and run to op temp, fingers crossed. Any good advice on hg break in, cooling system cleaning, IACV diagnosis would be greatly appreciated!

Put in a dry break quick disconnect on the fuel feed to make swapping fuels a little easier.

Oh snap! Original engine/gearbox still, or no? I'm at 358K on my original B18C1 engine and gearbox.

yep all original, no rebuilds yet not even the head. but i dont beat on it too hard and it's mostly freeway miles.
12k oil changes too lol. it leaks a bit tho so i'm always addin a fresh cup every couple weeks.
so that's 6 more quarts per year which means it's more like a 5k oil change heh.
