Weird Idle problem
I have a strange idle problem that only happens occasionally when I start my car after its been warmed up. Say I stop and get something from 7-11. When I start my car it will sometimes idle very low, around 500 rpm, shake a bit, and then the rpms bounce up about 100 rpms at a time to 650-700 rpm and then run relatively smooth. I have recently done (in the last 500 miles):
Cap and rotor coil plug wires plugs fuel filter cleaned icav idle speed adjustment timing belt and water pump (done by mechanic) radiator valve adjustment(done by mechanic) The plugs are properly gapped ngks wires are ngk... Cap and rotor are napa parts Could it be something ignition related? (ignitor or distributor?) Maybe when I cleaned the ICAV with carb cleaner it messed something up? No CELS. Any suggestions? Re: (1DA2NV)
thanks, but my car is a 97 ls manual so I have no fitv... probably should have included that info to begin with... 100,000 miles too. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
