Default Water Leak on Passenger Side Floor

OK, so a couple months ago I noticed my passenger side floor mat was soaked. I thought it was maybe because of people tracking snow into the car and it never dried because of the cold temperatures and just froze back up and melted again whenever I turned the heat on.

So I took the floor mat out, dried it off, and left it out of the car. It hadn't snowed or rained in a while until the other day, in which it rained literally all day.

I did not drive the car at all that day, it just sat in the rain. The next day I was taking my girlfriend home, and she got in the car and there was a puddle of water in the passenger side floor board, as well as water under the rear passenger side floor mat. Again, the car wasn't driven in the rain, just parked.

Also, no seats were wet, just the floor.

Car is a 1995 GSR coupe. I'm assuming the problem is a seal somewhere or a hole in the floor, but I'm just wondering if this is a problem that anyone else on here has experienced.

Thanks for any and all help.

Well...here is what she looks like when she's gutted, I don't remember coming across any holes or anything of the sort. Sounds like a seal to me.

Maybe the heater core? Could be possibly leaking down into the floor mat area.

Just a thought.

If its the heat core ull be smelling coolant, most likely its your windshield seal. Its comes in thru the seal and drips down the firewall crease to the floor
