any or all. the iridiums will live the longest, if you change more often take your pick with the other two. i wouldn't gap the iridium or platinum plugs, run em out of the box. the v power you can gap if needed but they are almost always very close out of the box.

WOW bad info...plats are like 12 dollars each. 2 dollars are the brk coppers. Coppers are good but just change them every year.

Ditto on the V-power copper core plugs. Cost about $6-$7 for a set of four from O'Rieley's, and they're good for 10K-15K miles. Doesn't sound like much, but seriously, it takes all of 5 minutes to replace them on an Integra. Not to mention, copper is a better electrical conductor than platinum or iridium, so why wouldn't you use them?

you're confused, NGK platinums are $2 a piece, $2.49 at my local parts store or $3.15ea on sparkplugs.com. even the more expensive iridiums are only $7.83. the iridium is the better plug of the two and requires the least amount of voltage to fire correctly. in a healthy engine they will outlive platinums by a considerable margin. in an oil burner....just get v power copper cores and change often. a lot of guys with turbo cars and high compression engines also favor the copper core.

maybe because if you burn oil u destroy ur plugs faster and using copper pos that are cheaper wont hurt ur wallet as much. and i ran a sun machine on my car with coppers in vs iridiums and the igntion has to work quite a bit less to fire everytime

Re: v-power or iridium IX or plantium
does running different plugs effect the lifespan of the ignition system(dizzy)?
i run iridiums in my teg right now. use to run copper....i thought the car had more response with those...

Iridiums are like $10 a plug, platinums are like $5 or $6+. Coppers are the best conductor of electricity and they're cheap. If you are worried about longevity, change them out every three oil changes and inspect them every oil change in between.

iridiums do take less energy to fire but oil burners coat them up quickly, i mean you could run them. it's just the benefit of going 40k+ miles isn't there which is most of the reason people use iridum

kool, i was thinking about v-power since they're so cheap. Last time i got some iridium's, they were gap at .038 which were suppose to be .052 for my gsr.
