Default Type R sway bar question

I m planning on installing a bar. I thought I heard somewhere that you can destroy the rear subframe of the car. I know about the mounting kit from BSQ. I did notice that stock mounts are no longer used because of the larger bar. It is save to use the top original one and the ABS mounting hole like said on BSQ's website.

BSQ's setup is sound. you will have to grind the ABS brackets or just remove them.

I've installed the bsq setup on 2 different gsr's now and neither have I had to remove the abs brackets. All you have to do is enlarge that one hole on each side. Not a problem and won't hurt anything.

y do you need the bsq kit for? can you install the bar w/o the kit? also what does the bsq kit consist of? I have my bar laying here, but i don't want to waste money on something i don't need.

get the bsq kit.... last thing you want is to tear out ur subframe cuz it was too weak to support the flexing of the sway bar. only 20 bucks or so...

BSQ Kit
Installation instructions for BSQ Kit and sway bar

If you don't use his kit, or some other sort of subframe reinforcement, you will damage the subframe.
