throttle body and tps sensor?

I have a jg bored throttle body for my gs-r that is throwing check engine lights after the car warms up. When the light comes on the rpms start surging up and down, and the car won't start moving till I'm at like 4k. I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem, and what they did to fix this

I was told it is probably the tps sensor. How would I check and adjust the voltage, and what should it be set at?

Have you checked the code first? I'd do that to make sure it was the TPS sensor. If some kind soul out there with a haynes/helms will tell you the voltage it should read at idle, a multimeter should have you set up.

0.5v at closed throttle and 4.5-5.0V at WOT

damn i am having TPS problems too. i replaced mines with the one from my CX motor because you cannot buy just the TPS from honda. you have to buy the whole throttle body. they are fastened with screws that are supposed to be permanent but my friend just tapped them out.
the specs above me are right BTW.

i dunno if it is the same for OBD2 cars but for OBD1 honda's, 7 short blinks means it is the TPS.
