Is there something wrong with my GSR?

I have a GSR swap on an LS.
my car it seem weird some how.
When i Shift at 5rpm - 6rpm, and shift to 2nd gear and the tire chirp (sound).
Does anyone know how it have such power in that region?
I research on the peak rpm of the gsr is 7600rpm, but when i get up there the car doesnt seem to acelerate nemore, like there no more power output.
Is there something wrong?

Ummm...

GSR's do have decent midrange power around 5-6k rpms, and with a quick shift you could give it a chirp.

It should make alot of power in the higher rpms also, maybe your tach is off or your motor is not tuned correctly.

Hard to understand your problem... be more explicit and check your wording too.

My GSR peaked at 7600 rpm... but stock is closer to 7800.

You would probably have to get it on a dyno. My gsr pulls all the way to redline. It definately does not stop pulling after 6K
