switching from regular oil to synthetic oil @ 62k
I want to switch from regular oil, which i have been using for the past 62000 kilometers, to synthetic oil, is this good or bad? should i do anything differently before i use synthetic oil? also for the oil filters which kind is best? where can i get the OEM one's that honda makes?

PURE ONE FILTER AND I CHANGED MINE OVER AT 78 K MILES WITH OUT A PROB. I SUGGUST MOBILE ONE

Switching at this time is fine, although you might want to stick with regular oil....
I bought my Honda OEM filters from http://www.handaaccessories.com/ that was the cheapest place I could find. They are great filters! Honda only uses one type of filter on all their cars (that are fuel injected) with the exception of the new 2001 Civic. If you don't believe me then check out http://www.inlinefour.com/accessories.html and look at their filters.

If you're car isn't heavily modded, just stick with something like Castrol GTX. Synthetic is very expensive but it is a necessity for me. Use genuine Honda oil filters too.
