Re: sunroof flew off
The glass piece is held in with "window weld", same stuff that holds the windshield and rear side windows in place.
The mess I see on the sunroof, [looks like grease] does look a lot more like grease then it does window weld, the glass has been replaced at some point and done improperly, not using window weld or no promoter used. 94

mine did the same thing... the glue was all dried up.. only about 25% was still gluey, the rest was hard as a rock.
and I know for a fact that an eg civic sun roof glass wont fit. I stuck an integra 2dr glass in my eg just to plug the hole but it wont close all the way.

Re: sunroof flew off
the glass has not been located.... if it would have shattered, I would have seen it. I am ordering new glass today most likely, and yes, I am pretty sure you are right about it being replaced before because it just looks like a sloppy job after a detailed inspection.

Re: sunroof flew off
No a civic one won't fit, but get one from a junk yard for cheap, or go to a local glass store and see if they have a cheap solution for you. LOL just switch to a RS roof No more sunroof problems

Re: sunroof flew off
Get it re-installed at a professional glass shop so it doesn't happen again. Really sucks it happened to you but I laughed pretty good after seeing those pics.

Re: sunroof flew off
This just happened to me last night same exact way. Washed car and then was going about 110 with everything closed when all of a sudden the sunroof flew off. My rails are also rusty too and the adhesive is like all melted as well. Must be a rare but common problem with integras
