im trying to take my spoiler off so i can paint my car. but all the bolts are just spinning with the nut. How can i take it off without ruining it because I want to put it back on after the paint job.

Sounds like the studs broke loose on the spoiler itself.... not sure if you have any choice but to cut the bolts and get a new spoiler and try and have the car painted with the spoiler on.

On a side note, at least yours will stay on... ALL my bolts came loose last night as a matter of fact and I hit a bump and lost my spoiler, pulled in my driveway and was like WTF.... too dark to look for it, back tracked today and found it on the side of the road in like 10 pieces, lol good luck with yours though

i wonder if the spoiler comes apart if I can replace all the studs?

but yes.. they've all come loose in the spoiler. and the spoiler needs to come off to for a good paint job to be done.

If I can picture the studs, I don't believe there is anyway to replace them... maybe someone who has a spare laying around can answer more accurate or you can find someone with one for cheap since you're painting anyway
