Default RSR Exmag

The website turboimport.com was selling the exmag exhaust for pretty cheap and they suddenly became out of stuck. i emailed them and asked them when they expect to get more in. they replied my email with this:

We are currently sold out of that exhaust, and according to RSR USA, this item has just been discontinued by RSR Japan. We also carry a lineup of alternative parts for the integra, so please let us know if you would like to modify your order to an item that is in stock. The APEXi worldsport 2 or GReddy SP2 are nearly identical to the RSR, but they are much higher quality systems since they are full stainless. We highly recommend either system over the RSR since the RSR's tend to rust over time. The Tanabe hyper is also another good alternative choice if youre looking at the exmag.

I was wondering if anyone with the exmag experienced the same problems that they stated. and does anyone agree that the greddy and apexi exhaust is higher quality? if anyone could leave some feedback about the exmag, it would help.
Thanks

do u think that the rsr exhaust is lower quality then the competitors with the "stocker" looking catback systems?

Nope, it's probably the best of that group of exhausts.

I guess a lot more WS2s will be sold now

I have the exmag and love it, everything he says sounds like a salepitch probably wants to keep your bussiness. I was told that they were out of stock also but then found a company that sold it on ebay for 475.00 and free shipping, this was about 5 months ago though. If you can't get the RSR, I've heard good things about the Greddy, and Thermal.

ive checked on ebay for sellers for the exmag but no steady seller. and havent found one for my integra yet. if anyone has any links to some good prices on exmag please tell me. raceinspired.com seems to have a decent price 493 before shipping depending on where you live.

I love my RS*R ExMag too, but it is indeed made of mild steel. Or so my magnet tells me anyway... I feel it's a great exhaust system, It fit perfectly and it sounds great, barely louder than stock. But I'm gonna keep my eye on rusting, since it is made of mild, and I've only had it on for about 6 months or so. Hopefully I can keep rust in check by inspecting it often and painting scraped areas.

Id suggest the Apexi WSII catback, its really quiet even with a test pipe. U wont be able to hear it, and it'll give u nice gains.

HKS did the same thing with the Hi Power, it ended up being 4 weeks for my shop to find someone that still had one.

THE GT2 is a loud exhaust.

WSI--street
N1--sport
GT2--race

At least that is the perception i have of the Apexi exhaust line

i love my HKS Hi Power, 2 resonators and a muffler, real quiet. It even suprised me when i started it up. And u cant go wrong with the gangster lean tip.
