Re: QUESTION: LS Auto to Manual
That would be hard to say, you could probably spend $5000 on parts if you got new ones from a dealer.
However, used parts from a PicknPull would be considerably less, EG; a 5 speed transmission is $99.99, with a $29.99 core, brake and clutch pedal assembly is $17.99 another $50-$75 should get you the rest of what you need, master and slave cylinders, lines, shift linkage, shifter boot , CIS, starter relay and so on. 94

We spent 900 but came out with another LS engine with it and a complete car for parts, I'd say 1000 dollars or so is so far what it looks like

Re: QUESTION: LS Auto to Manual
Honestly? if u could find a crashed car thats 5spd or something cheap then just buy that, thats what we did we bought a whole car for 900 and made all our money back selling interior parts and such off it, including scoring a few pieces we needed for our own car.

Re: QUESTION: LS Auto to Manual
If you want the GSR transmission you will have to find a GSR, the LS comes with the LS transmission, [final drive is 4.266:1] GSR is 4.400:1. the LS will be a lot cheaper, [lots around] but the GSR is a better transmission, it is what I put into my 94 RS. 94
