PR4 are nonvtec heads. Came from realy 90's up to '95 on the B1 also.. Hope that helps some. The PR3 is vtec????, but im not sure.

The only part that matters is the "PR3" part. The final digit is merely a random incremental digit. I've seen Type R heads and B16 heads both with every digit from 1 through 4. Without really taking a look at it, you can only be sure that it's not a GSR/Sir-G head.

They are basically the same thing. My jdm b20 came with pr3 cam gears and my b18a longblock cam with pr3 cam gear too.
