Power steering fluid question

Default Power steering fluid question

I used a non honda power steering fluid (prestone), will it harm the system? if it is bad how do you get it out?

You can use non-Honda PSF.

Unless it was designed for use in Honda, systems, then yes, it will cause harm. You need to drain and flush the fluid, then replace with Honda or Honda-specific fluid.

I bought some at autozone for Honda cars and will flush the system.
