Paint Jobs.

im bout to buy a slvr 95 ls. i was wondering if i paint it all black -- how long would the paint last until it starts fading or anything?? depends on what store or what? how long would it take? thanks..

It all depends on where you take it and what they use. If you pay 500bucks for a paint job chances are its going to flake off before it even has a chance to fade.

paint isnt anything to cheap out on....if you do, it will end up looking worse than it does now

The statement will never die. "You get what you Pay for!" Had a 2200.00 paint job on a DA looked amazing. 2 years later it started to crack in areas and there was still some runs here and there. Never noticed until after the matter. I was too excited to see them... My $.02....

I heard alot of feedback on them it depends what area you located at
some of them good some not just search
but like its been said earlier "u get what u pay for"
So if u pay 3k to maaco u should get a good paint job and u have a right to complain about it if anything is wrong
Paid 500 $ to them guys don't expect to see your car in the magazine for best paint job of the year
that simple !

Just go look around your area for auto body. Get info on the the cars they painted. Not much there... all depends on the painter. I'd advise you to stay away from Macco, unless you actually know the painter and he/she's in a good mood. Macco is like fast food, you get in and out pretty fast but the quality isn't top notch, but again it also depends on who/where the shop is. I've seen some good result from them but I personally wouldn't ever bring my car there simply because the ones over here sucks. Also to make the price/results better prep your own car. Remember 90% prep 10% paint.
