Oil gushing out from somewhere near the head?
We just started my friends car for the first time, and each time we crank it over we notice that oil starts gushing out of the back of the block. We have tried to narrow it down, but it is really hard to see it. We have the general location down though, it seems to be close to the headgasket, but behind the big black coolant tube, and it is above the oil pressure unit (that is definitely not where the leak is coming from).
We are at a loss here, the motor is a b18c1 and is not any type of ls/vtec or anything like that. Its a Jerry Built block and the head was done up by Industrial, and everything looked fine when we bolted it all up, so this problem has come to us as a surprise. Is there some sort of oil orifice behind that coolant line somewhere that might be missing or loose?
