DC2 = VTEC hatch
DC4 = non VTEC hatch
DB8 = VTEC sedan
DB7 = non VTEC sedan

An oxygen sensor's purpose on a vehicle is:

to measure or read the exhaust gases, so the ecu knows how much fuel needs to be added in the cylinders to compensate with the air. no o2... and your ecu doesn't have a clue how much fuel to add, so it dumps in a **** load of it. its good way to get your motor to smoke for the rest of its poor life.
