I have been asking this question for quite a while now and a I never seem to get a clear answer.....I wonder if anyone truely knows!!
How do you read the "clock" info on the front of the engine head?
There are 4 "clock locking" emblems on the head...SO WHAT!!! How Do You Read Them
I am trying to fing the exact date and make of my engine but no one can help!!
I know, I know the block says B18C and nothing else...
They say the head has a mark on it but no one can tell me where...

Well ud proly have to find someone who works at a honda plant the marks that u talk about are production line marks that are only really used by the factory to help identify problems with casting and production mistakes.
Do you have the head that came with the motor
The head will tell you which it is

they didnt make a B18c in 93 so I would be safe to say that mine is a 94? OBD1

Re: No "True" Integra Lover Knows!!!!

If your head says 93 then it's a 94 motor. Lots of heads were cast in 93 and used in 94 and even 95 motors.

Re: No "True" Integra Lover Knows!!!!

Thanks all-mtr-teg!!!! Your stern post gives me confidence!...Any idea what the other "clock" numbers mean for curiosity sake?
Thanks again!!
