New Type R or RSX Type R
Anybody looked at the new Type R...well the RSX Type R well what ever you want to call it. I was just curious to hear peoples thoughts on the car. If you haven't seen it here is a link for ya... http://www.edmunds.com/news/autoshow...2/page009.html
I would also like to know if anyone knows about the performance and any other specs.

Re: New Type R or RSX Type R (AcuraRacer112)
a R is a R, RESPECT is wat i give them. why are R's stolen alot, why does every motorsport carry something of the R whether its emblems, key chain or stickers, why do we always compare another car with a R, Cuz its a R!

Re: New Type R or RSX Type R (studentdriver)
Hope it's light like the DC2... if not... I'm thinking it's STi fodder.
The Type S handling did not impress me much after getting out of my lightly modded RS. Just lacked the go-kart edge of the RS or GS-R IMHO. Though, seeing the "in-dash changer" etc makes me think it'll have too many luxury items. Maybe Honda can figure out a way to make that stuff lighter but... it'd still be lighter without it, and I think the luxury bits should be dealer-installed options in case someone wants a lighter, faster barebones type of deal.
PS- I'm fairly sure Winston Cup has nothing to do with the R... or WRC for that matter. Not every motorsport cares about the R, though they are nice cars
