Need Help! Bad idle/bog after intake install
 

So 2 days ago i installed a short ram intake and a strut tower bar on my da, and after a few minutes i noticed that it kept bogging after taking my foot off the gas, so the hose that goes from the valve cover to the intake, i took it off and put a breather filter on the valve cover...and everything worked out, and it was running fine..

Then i installed the strut bar and it was a snug fit, almost like it was rubbing on something on top of the intake manifold...And today when ever i take my foot off the gas it still almost dies, like the rpm's go down to like 200 then back up to like 750, so i took the strut bar off and notice it was touching something that was attatched to the throttle linkage...and i put the original hose back on from the intake to V.C, and made sure the other vacuum line was ok...still the same thing..and i dont know what is wrong...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT MIGHT BE THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM???

This isnt a pic of my engine but the thing circled is what my strut bar was resting on..and might have burnt a little bit...

No, i finally found out what it is, It's the dashpot valve, and ive removed the strut bar and it still idles shitty..but imma go reset my ecu and see what happens...

so i reset the ecu and now when i start the car the rpms almost die then went to 2k then stalled out...damn this sux...

So i replaced all of my vacuum lines, replaced the IAC valve and tps sensor, put stock intake back on, unbolted the intake mani, and then finally got her running again.....I'm sick of my old ass car...I think its time to upgrade to a 98+....
