trying pulling out power steering. it might be a little tough the first day but you'll get the hang of it. i did it to my gsr. i get great milage, except the fact that i have an exhaust leak which probably evend out wit my gas.

its probably either your driving habits or maybe lots of city driving/traffic/stop and go or short trips.. or maybe your car needs a tune up..

Drive slower, keep a constant speed, check air pressure in tires, the lighter the car the less drag which equals more gas, give it a tune up....etc...

i get 29...but it depends on ur drivin habits...jus reset the trip on ur next fillup...then next time at the station....do the trip meter divided by the gallons pumped...an guess what? its ur exact gas milege!!

mine used to eat up gas.. but here recently after a few simple mods its been fine.

you could always try one of those additives after you get your oil changed to clean up your injectors etc. Maybe use some high mileage oil next time you get it changed, that can usually help restore compression. Maybe even pick up one of those tornado things(HAS ANYONE ON HERE TRIED THAT YET??) its supposed to give you alittle more power and a more effecient burn due to a swirling effect on your intake, it has some kind of increase your gas mileage guarentee. I dont know if I believe it but if I was getting pissed off about my mileage i'd try it. I just wanna hear of someone on honda-tech puttin it through its paces.

i get about 240 miles to the full tank...highway driving...keep it under 3000 when ur cruising and no trips above 3500 and you should get wonderful gas mileage...

go figure. i think its beacause of my exhaust leak as well..

I consistently get between 28 and 29 mpg and that's mostly highway driving with a lead foot and seeing the red quite a bit. I got an ignition system tune up (spark plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor) on Monday and now I'm getting even better mileage, but I don't have the numbers yet. I'm currently at 350 miles and the gas light isn't on yet (should be soon though).

An ignition system tune-up can restore your mileage and performance. I was overdue for one (couldn't get the damn rotor screw out) and my car certainly runs and sounds better now. It had been making noises that made me think it needed a valve adjustment, but now it sounds normal and runs like it's new again.

I usually get around 200. Its sad. 140k miles, dealer tuneup at 130k, all boltons added at 135k. I don't know what's wrong.

Might also want to try a different brand of gas. Make tire pressure checks a weekly occurance.

On average, I get 320 miles to a tank. Anything less than 300, and there's something wrong. I've gone to 360 last week with regular trips to redline.

Nice incentive to keep to needle under 4000: you'll never break the speed limit and your gas mileage will go way up!

Gas leaks can cause low gas mileage? i had no clue maybe that's why im getting bad gas mileage, i know i have an exhaust leak... i have bottomed out my 4-1 header about 10 or 12 times and have worn a pretty good sized hole in it.

What kind of gas mileage will i see when i turbo my car? i plan on running 550cc injectors at 10 psi on the street.

Hehe, its kinda funny now when I think about it. Before my car was mine (when it was still my dad's), I thought that the proper way to shift the car (learning from seeing parents do it) was with goal of keeping the tach between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Yeah, I guess my parents drive like old people... which they... are.
