My b18b intake polishing *PIC*
Hi , first you may have some difficultie to read me because I have a bad english.
So I had a b18b P75 intake manifold laying around hand with the advice of someone who have did it before I decide to polish my intake. I use 80 sandpaper with the tool on my drawing and a drill. I narowed the divisor between the runner just a little bit to smooth the casting.
I have a question : Is it a good idea to use 120 grit sand paper to make my intake more polish ?
So i'm waiting for your com'Z

Most likely, he's gonna weld it back and smooth out the welds..

did the same to my 1st Skunk2 manifold, cleaned the casting marks out and "sharpened" the runner dividers, cleaned it out and tig welded it back together, re-dyno'd it and made 7whp/2ftlbs more than before. just dont "polish" it fully theres no need. but i would indeed clean it up a bit more.

Sorry for the delay the shop take really long time to weld it but finally I got it. I have a question fo you, the weld do not penetrate perfectly the aluminium so inside of the plenum there is a "slot" all the long of the weld (you can see it in the picture), do you think I should fill it with a paste like jb weld ??
Thank you and please give me your opinion on my question.
