Why wouldn't the ES inserts work? They are good and if you search for them you'll see that quite a few people use them. Just make sure your stock mounts are in good condition though.

they have to be in good condition? because ive read at least a couple of things online that said that damaged motor mounts can be still used with the inserts

I got the mounts in my 1990 from Innovative Mounts and I recommend them 100%.

I got the middle-line race mounts and get a nice little vibrate at low rpm's, but still daily drivable if you have a nice sound system. Awesome quality though.

I don't know about the inserts, I've never used them, and I broke my front motor mound and tore the... tranny one I think it was. After that I purchased new polyurethane mounts from Innovative. Sorry!

It is recommended that the mounts be in good condition by the manufacturer of the inserts.

From a polyurethane man the word is ES doesn't use the best kind of polyurethane material and he has taken over some of prior ES customers because his grade of material is much better...
