momo horn?
hey guys, i hae a momo monte carlo and i got the horn button. the steering wheel doesnt have the circle thing around the horn like the others ive seen. i was just wondering how i get the horn to stay on the wheel
heres a pics
thats how it looks when its in the hole, but doesnt stay, it just sits there
it can slide off...how do i make it lock on and stay there?

haha.. i had the same problem. i actually ended up not connecting the horn. it was too hard to wire it up so it wouldn't get caught while turning. good luck though

in CA, it's legal until you get caught. hah.. i've been pulled over by several cops and they never said anything about my airbag.

actually from what I've heard, as long as your car is a 94 or older, an airbag is not required

if you're talking about the ring around the bottom of the actual horn button, then yes it did. you have to hook up the positive wire to it so it can ground when you press the horn. my problem was that everytime i'd turn, the wired would get caught and it would just snap. i got lazy and ran without a horn for months. don't get me wrong, i wish i had it at many times. the finger isn't as visible if you have no way to get their attention. lol

it has the metal ring...
im wondering how you get the horn button to STAY onto the steering wheel.
i bought the momo steerging wheel with the horn not on it.
the horn fits but is not mounted on the steering wheel..im just asking how i mount it to the steering wheel

i was told to put the silver ring inside the clips, and i did,,,its still not holding onto the steering wheel....anyone know the solution?

the piece that holds the horn in place comes with the hub adapter. That piece acts as a grounding plate that goes directly behind the wheel as well, and the hole is slightly smaller than that of the steering wheel, so when u put it the horn button, it will hold it.
