master clutch cylinder???
my clutch pedal feels like the clutch fluid is low but its full. and the clutch is bled. but the pedal wont pop out. it nearly sticks to the floor. its engages barely enough to shift good and start. sometimes not even enough to start my car. Should i replace th emaster clutch cylinder??

yes, did you bleed the line right way?
if there is fluid dropping from M/C, replace ASAP. also slave cylinder; not required, but not a bad idea.

i think your refering to the slave cylinder not the master cylinder.
MC ---> brakes
SC----> cluth pedal
Try rebleeding the slave cylinder to make sure you have no air bubbles in the line. And reach up to where the clutch pedal meets the firewall and feel for fluid.

There is no fluid at all. I bought from a kid with this problem. He says it was bled. I will bleed myself this weekend. He said honda told him its prolly the master clutch cylinder. Before i buy one i want to here some other opinions. Thanks guys keep em coming.
So yea no fluid inside or out. And whatever it is that extends and push's the pedal out isnt extending except the 2 inches for the clutch to work..

same ****, just has a few names for it i guess
Sounds like your clutch master cylinder took a dump on, but before replacing try bleeding the system to make sure and if that still doesnt work just pick one up and replace it yourself it isn't that hard.

hmm i always thought that the there was the master clutch cylinder which is connected to the clutch petal. and the slave is attched to the outside of the tranny.

:sigh: ....wtf.
if there is no sign of leak on master cylinder or slave cylinder, there are air in the system. however there are chance your cluch is bad, throw out bearing, fork.

Re: master clutch cylinder??? (Last For One)
Hmm. One thing that does happen that is wierd is that when im cruisin in 5th gear it randomly pops out. No grinding when it does it either. just pops out. then i put back in for about 5 mins then it will do it again. Only 5th i think. Its a b16 tranny so im never crusing in any other gear

Wow... um yeah. The clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder are two totally different things.
My was doin the same thing i bled the slave cylinder while having one of my buddies add more DOT 3 to my clutch master cylinder. If its low pedal then its usually because you have air in your lines... due to a small crack or not bled properly.
If the pedal is to the floor and not coming back then you have a definate problem. Look for leaks around slave cylinder, thats my guess. Your CMC is probably fine but i would inspect that too while your at it.

Re: master clutch cylinder??? (Last For One)
OMG i think u bought a lemon dont worry it can be fixed. if i were u go here http://www.acuraparts247.com/ call them up shaun the parts guy is the man he will help u out. NE WAYS get yerself a new CLUTCH MASTER and CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER. install them fill it up and bleed it. as for your tranny falling out of 5th gear u are most likely low on tranny fluid ive seen it happen tons of times. your 5th-reverse gear selector sleeve might be funked up. Mine was so i changed it and no more 5th gear pop outs. ive never seen a car start dropping out of gear just from a bad clutch but it doesnt mean that cant be the problem either. GL
