I don't care if it's driven at the track once a year, I still don't buy it lol. And that video proves nothing, for all I know there's darton sleeves and manley rods in that thing, a track video proves nothing.

well i was a bit off saying he runs 10s flat, so far i think the best was a 10.5 but its still street legal, stock seat and dash and everything..so for the OP man, do it get that power up to 400hp, ull be safe..

cupcake lmao i love it! alright im sold rod bolts head studs and gasket ill put her back on the dyno and add some more boost i won't add meth unless im getting alot of knock, we have 94 octane here so we'll see how that holds up

Why? Most of the time it's a good idea to get a line hone if you do.

Along with the rod bolts, you're not "suppose" to just put them in without checking the big end of the rod after.

Seriously though if you beat the **** out of the car, it's stupid not to get forged internals.

It's not worth it to do main studs, with the align hone you need, the stock mains are perfectly fine.

And since you want to buy that drag teg, come back to PA, my tuner is selling his 9sec EG hatch, $16k. He's got about $55k or more into it.

this is the wrong forum. has been done many a times in forced induction. gringotegra pushed a stock gsr to 444whp with a precision 3431e ***** out.

you will have to use e85

in his case a rod failure is what ended that motor. lived for nearly two years if i remember right. fairly sure he drove it around 300whp on lower boost most the time when doing street duty

wouldn't bother with mains. not common for them to come apart on hondas unless you're pushing big power. i'd sooner sleeve it.
head studs and rod bolts should be fine. gotta draw the line. that's the impression i'm getting

yea. i mean, the more money you put into a motor, the more worried you'll be about blowing it up, and the more insurance you'll want. becomes a vicious cycle. as of now, it's just a stock b18b. with just the head studs and rod bolts, you won't be in too deep to worry about it

no thanks dirty, i wouldnt go to PA for a 9 sec EG hatch, we have one here at the same shop as that 10 sec teg thats for sale lol and this hatch ran a 10 in 2009..so im sure it can do a 9 easily now with just a bit more work

i really dont worry about breakin stuff though cuz i build these things to beat on them and have fun i love goin racing. my motto is if youre not breakin parts your not goin fast enough lol evertime something brakes it gets a better stronger part. i mean why build it if youre not gonna use it. i couuld never be a car collector because i would drive them all and depreciate the value too much lol.

i found a guy that i need to pm gringotegra it looks like hes running exactly what im looking for on his old setup anyway, he was clearing 400 hp with not too many modifications before. his new sig says 659 hp now so i know hes changed his setup but i would like to hear how he was doin it. I also am wondering how much lower a 2mm or 3mm thick head gasket will get your compression, anyone know the numbers?
